Through the Ages, Rails of Europe on Display at Spiel 07
FRED Distribution has confirmed that the prototypes of Through the Ages, 2nd Edition and Rails of Europe, the Railroad Tycoon expansion, will be on display at Spiel, but the published games won’t be available until the end of 2007. In addition to Uptown, Incan Gold, and older titles from Eagle Games, FRED Distribution also expects to have a new book of card games from Reiner Knizia called Blazing Aces. Knizia’s Dice Games Properly Explained, published by Right Way Books, was a fascinating examination of how dice can be used in games in addition to including several original games, so I’m eager to see whether Blazing Aces does the same for card games.

Only a proto for Through the Ages? Bummer, I was hoping to have that game sooner rather than later. Any idea when it’ll be available? Posted by Phil Schwarzmann on Sep 30, 2007 at 04:45 AM | #
