Tide of Iron, Wings of War Coming to XBLA, PlayStation
Fantasy Flight Games is working together with videogame developer Big Rooster to create electronic versions of its board and card games, starting with Wings of War: Famous Aces, scheduled for release in Q4 2008, and Tide of Iron, scheduled for Q2 2009. As Christian Petersen, FFG founder and CEO, said in a press release accompanying the announcement, “We worked with Big Rooster to find games that have different themes and mechanics. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to bring them to the wide audience of Xbox Live and the Sony PlayStation Network.”

I probably won’t bother with either of these electronic versions since I’d rather have the genuine article, but it’s nice to see the PlayStation Network getting some love in this area since Settlers, Carcassonne, and Ticket To Ride have all been exclusive to the XBox.
