Tom Vasel: Where have I been?

You would think that having been absent for two weeks, I would come back with something snazzy, something to rival all the other bloggers with wit and charm.  But I don’t have much for you this week.  I’m going to pull the excuse that I was too busy.  When people ask me how I manage to write all my reviews - the answer is that sometimes, I just don’t.  I’m behind on reviews and this blog - all due to several factors:

1.) I just finished moving to a much bigger and nicer home.  While this has been a wonderful thing (heh - see my game room!), it has been tiring.

2.) For many days straight, and with the help of Steve De Chellis, www.thedicetower.com and www.tomvasel.com have both had some major overhauls.  I urge all of you to go check ‘em out, and let me know of all the (many, I’m sure!) errors I made.  Still, it’s a relief to have a more automated, cleaner system.  I will say that when transferring the reviews though, I was annoyed at how many I had written!  Also, at my blog, you can see pictures of our new house.

3.) The Vasels are going to America!  For the first time in three years, our entire family is going to visit in America, from June 14th to July 7th.  This is an exciting thing for us - especially my wife, and I’m glad to finally spend time with family that I haven’t seen in a long time.  I will be at Origins near the end of the vacation, and a few people have lined up other gaming for me - so I expect to get some of that in.

So the reviews, the interviews, and the Dice Tower WILL be coming back - it’s just that I’ve been tremendously busy.  I will have time in America to pound out a few reviews and blogs - so look for more from me next week.

But for now, America, tremble - the Vasels are a-comin’!
