Wits & Wagers to Be Released on Xbox LIVE Arcade
Wits & Wagers, the betting/trivia party game from North Star Games that has won a gazillion awards, will soon be released for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade. Up to four players can join the game on one console, and up to six players total can be part of the same game. AI bots fill in for any missing people. The 700 questions included in the base game are included in the XBLA version, and new questions appear to have been added as well, according to game designer Dominic Crapuchettes.
Update: When will this be released? Perhaps on March 19th, perhaps on some other day. The press release doesn’t mention a date, which makes it a pretty crummy press release.

Wed was the formal announcement date from Microsoft that it will appear on the X-box. North Star Games already had announced it, so this press release wasn’t all that great. A release date would have been nice. Past press releases lead me to think this will be actually available (released) in the later spring. (ie. in a month or two, not this week or next...) And, sad to say, I am really disappointed. They lost the craps table look (the green felt board). It looks more like a goofy game show played by puppets with bizarre heads and VERY irritating music.
