Project GIPF Championship at 2008 Mind Sports Olympiad
Kris Burm’s GIPF first appeared in 1997, with Schmidt Spiele bringing the game to worldwide attention in 1998. To celebrate the game’s – and the entire Project’s – ten years on the world stage, Burm and current publisher SMART have arranged a Project GIPF Championship to be held during the 2008 Mind Sports Olympiad in Prague, which runs from Sept. 27 to Oct. 5. All six games will be featured, and players’ scores will be combined across all the games, so the more you play, the greater your chance of winning. For more details, head to Project GIPF Championship post on Gipf.com.
